Tychron pricing is usage-based, direct from the licensed carrier: you pay for what you send, industry fees pass through at cost, and anything account-specific is quoted up front — nothing lands on an invoice that wasn't in the quote.
The model
Three parts, all of them visible
- Your usage rate — per-message and per-minute rates quoted for your actual volume and channel mix, with no stacked margin on top — your rate comes straight from the source.
- Industry fees, at cost — TCR brand and campaign fees and carrier pass-through surcharges are set by the registry and the networks, not by us. We pass them through at cost and publish the complete current surcharge schedule plus every change notice. Current registry fees live on the 10DLC registration page.
- Nothing hidden — anything account-specific (setup, inbound billing on certain account types) is quoted up front. The table below shows how every line item is billed.

Why isn't there a public rate card?
Because an honest one doesn't fit on a card. Your effective rate depends on volume, channel mix (10DLC, toll-free, short code, RCS, voice), and traffic profile — and carrier pass-through surcharges differ by network, direction, and message type. We quote your actual mix, and every pass-through fee is published as carriers change them.
Do you charge setup or inbound messaging fees?
It depends on the account. Dynamic queue technology is free for every customer, always. Setup and inbound 10DLC billing vary by account type — many accounts pay neither, while some non-carrier accounts do — and third-party DCA campaign vetting is billed per attempt ($15 standard, passed through at cost; $50 for optional 48-hour expedited vetting). Whatever applies to your account is in the quote before you sign; nothing lands on an invoice that wasn't in the quote.
What are pass-through fees and who sets them?
Mobile network operators charge per-message surcharges on A2P traffic, and The Campaign Registry charges brand and campaign fees. Neither is set by Tychron — we pass both through at cost, notify customers before every change, and publish the complete current surcharge schedule alongside every archived notice. Non-USD operator surcharges are converted to USD monthly per GSMA settlement and billing requirements.
Are there monthly minimums or contracts?
No monthly minimums and no term commitments — Tychron quotes are offered flexible by default, so your rates aren't a bet on volumes you haven't hit yet. Bring your actual traffic numbers and a short conversation gets you a real quote against them.
